Attorney Lace Diaz (formally Hernandez) focuses her practice of law primarily on family law matters but also offers a variety of legal services. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Diaz worked as a certified paralegal for several years in the area of family law. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law where she graduated cum laude among the top of her class with honors and was given Dean’s Lists awards each year for her academic achievements. During her time in law school, she was a member of the law school’s Trial Team, which is a highly selective national championship trial advocacy honors organization. She also served as Vice-President of the St. Thomas Criminal Law Society, where she organized informative events regarding wrongful convictions, exonerations, and the death penalty. In addition to her Juris Doctor degree, Ms. Diaz also holds a certification in Criminal Litigation and has worked at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office as a certified legal intern within the Juvenile Delinquency Division.

​ Lace Diaz is a member of the Florida Bar Family Law section and was recognized as one of the Top 40 under 40 National Advocates in 2021. She is a proud attorney within the No More Tears organization, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence. Through this organization, Lace has helped victims obtain restraining orders against their abusers, help parents obtain full custody of children who were being abused by the other parent, and ensure child victims are kept safe.
